Cate Calvert is a New York City–based marketing strategist and dance artist whose work lives at the intersection of performance and digital storytelling. Cate holds a B.A. in Media Communication Studies from Florida State University and brings a strong background in digital storytelling, brand strategy, and content development across platforms.
As a dancer with over 16 years of training and performance experience, Cate understands creative industries from the inside out. Her background in contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and ballet shaped her eye for composition, pacing, and audience engagement — skills she now applies to content strategy, brand development, and campaign execution. Having trained and performed in both Orlando and New York City, she brings an artist’s intuition into every marketing decision she makes.
Professionally, Cate leads multi-platform campaigns as Marketing Director for Wolf Hospitality Group and manages social media strategy for cat.astrophe! Dance Company. She has experience in agency and arts administration settings, including The Zimmerman Agency, Pentacle, and the Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography. Whether in a studio or behind a content calendar, Cate is driven by the same goal: to create work that moves people.
